Electricity produced by solar energy photovoltaic panels is made available via the inverter. The system is connected to the network with a bidirectional counter. During the daytime, electricity generated by the system is consumed if there is a need, and the surplus is counted by the bidirectional meter and sold to the network. The energy requirement is met from the network during the hours when there is no daylight or when the production is not sufficient to meet the consumption.The bidirectional meter records the electricity supplied to the network and the electricity received from the network for consumption, then it is compared with the offsetting method and the month-end invoice is determined accordingly.
